Click Here to see the product that finally cleared up my acne scars.

Hey everyone! I’m back to finish up my story about my acne scar cure. Sorry, we just had a huge family event and I couldn’t get around to writing up my next post. On the plus side – I saw a bunch of family I hadn’t seen in a while and got a TON of compliments on how great my skin looked!

On with my story…

There are 4 basic kinds of acne scars, according to the doctors. The doctors call them rolling, hypertrophic, icepick and boxed. If you don’t treat them at all, then you’ll likely have them the rest of your life. Acne scars are hard to treat because the scars themselves dig deep into the skin and create those dreadful “craters” where it looks like someone dug a hole in your face and never filled it in.

Treating acne scars promptly is usually the best course, but there is hope for ones that have been left untreated.

The problem is, of course, that not all acne scar treatments work. We, the sufferers, are left trying potion after potion and cream after cream, throwing our hard earned money down the drain, all the while making our faces into some kind of lab experiment.

You probably know by now that there are doctors who specialize in treating acne scars, right? They’re called dermatologists and they offer expensive and painful procedures like skin resurfacing (ouch!). These guys make a LIVING from attempting to remove your acne scars.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I ain’t got that kind of money! And I don’t have an hour to drive to the nearest dermatologist either!

I also tried the over the counter stuff. All of them. Well, maybe not all of the, but it sure felt like all of them.

I remember this one time, in the spring. I had one of my classic spring outbreaks, I don’t know why but spring is my worst time. Anyway, I went to 3 different stores and went through the shelves going “got it, got it, used it, hate it, got it, got it, hate it” to every single product out there. They seemingly had all failed me in the past. Same with the “gunk” I got from the doctor.

Let’s take one common ingredient in most acne medications. Benzoyl peroxide. What is benzoyl peroxide? It’s a chemical that comes from acid and in acne medications, the way it works is that it makes your face peel.

If used with certain other medications, it can irritate your skin. You can get skin crusting, swelling of the skin and it can even cause blistering. Not only that, the pharmaceutical insert that you get talking about the ingredient says that not all the possible side effects are even listed. Here’s what you might not know about your prescription acne medicine; it can make your acne worse!

In that case, the cure ends up being worse than how the condition was before ‘treatment.’ It’s always best to treat your body, both inside and out, with natural ingredients that won’t harm your skin or your body.

Then my friend Brenda said “Sugar, they just keep bringing out more and more crappy cures so you all keep buying them. They help you just enough to keep you hooked.” And she was right.

Click here if you want to see the product that cleared up my acne scars.

I don’t normally count the Internet as a good source of information, so I was skeptical and spent a long time reading and researching. I bought about 4 different products online. Two were supposed “miracle cures” that were basically “snake oil.” I don’t even know what they had in them but they didn’t work at all.

My friend Brenda, wisely, said that I should stop looking at chemicals and products and start thinking “holistically” and treat my body as a whole better. Chemicals are chemicals, but holistic treatments are more natural and respect the body that God gave us. So yet again I switched gears. My acne breakouts were under control at this point and I stopped searching.

I started seeing “Holistic” approaches to everything, everywhere. TV shows, drug stores, the market and even in Church!

When I got back to searching for an acne cure again, I found the eBook called “Acne No More” by Mike Walden.

Mr. Walden is a certified nutritionist and health consultant with years of experience helping people treat their bodies “holistically” and instead of focusing on quick cures and instant relief, Mr. Walden teaches primarily that what’s going on inside our bodies is usually a big cause of our problems on the outside.

Acne No More is huge. It’s an eBook (delivered in a PDF download) and it’s over 200 pages! Good Lord, I thought I’d never get through the book when I got it.

Let me tell you, this book delivers GREAT information from the first page! For example, you know that Vitamin A helps your skin retain elasticity and heal faster right? But did you know that too much Vitamin A actually causes damage to your liver and other parts of your body?

Washing your face too often with the wrong products can also make your face look WORSE!

Acne No More by Mike Walden has so much great information in it for someone who has been struggling with acne for a long time and understands that there is no “miracle cure” and that clearing up will be a process.

Holistic approaches to acne treatment mean changes to overall lifestyle. You can’t just slap on a cream or a gel that you buy in a store. You need to understand what is causing your acne in the first place, what is causing the scars, and how your body is behaving.

Since starting the Acne No More program a couple of months ago, I’ve seen most of my scars disappear, had fewer outbreaks of acne pimples and blackheads, and I’ve lost 20 pounds! My daughters are more happy, my attitude is better and my friends love going out on the town with me!

I highly recommend buying Acne No More today and getting started right away!

If you want, contact me directly with any questions about my experience, or contact Mike! I’ve emailed him a couple of times and gotten quick, helpful replies.

As I searched for an acne scar cure, I learned some great tips to get rid of acne. Today, I share my best tips for acne control and hopefully help you become acne free.

Wow. I’ve gotten a lot of emails via my contact form asking for more details on my acne scar cure. Don’t worry, I’m busy writing up my search and reviews of the products I’ve tried and will post it shortly. I’m not much of a writing, and my girls take up a lot of my time.

Until then, I’m going to share this article on general tips to get rid of acne. Hope it helps.

How To Get Rid Of Acne – 7 Tips For Success

Let’s face it. Zits are a royal pain. It seems like discovering how to get rid of acne is a never ending battle. There is no single solution that will give every person a perfect, clear complexion. Don’t lose hope though. Here are 7 tips that may prove to work for you.

The key to finding a treatment that works for you is to focus on treatments that will rid your skin of acne causing bacteria. Start by washing your face two times a day, every day. Make sure you use a clean wash cloth with warm water and a mild soap. Do not scrub your face. Instead, wash gently.

Avoid touching your face with your hands. Also try to keep your hair off your face. Your fingers and hair both contain oil that may cause unnecessary outbreaks. If you wear makeup, look to purchase oil free makeup.

When looking into how to get rid of acne, women may find birth control pills beneficial. When your hormones are highly active, your chances of developing acne are increased. Birth control pills help your hormones become more stabilized and lessen the possibility of an acne attack.

If these solutions don’t work for you, the next step is to purchase anti-acne medication from your local pharmacy or supermarket. You will often find these over the counter medications referred to as benzoyl peroxide. Use as directed. Failure to do so may result in increased skin irritation which will increase the healing time.

The final progression in demolishing acne is to visit a dermatologist. When home remedies and over the counter solutions aren’t working for you, it’s possible that prescribed medications like Accutane may be necessary. Many prescribed medications come with side affects like changes of mood or sudden bleeding of the nose. Many of these medications will also require constant monitoring by your dermatologist. Other doctor prescribed solutions may also include oral antibiotics which kill trapped bacteria in your skin.

As you can see, when it comes to determining how to get rid of acne, there are a wide variety of solutions. Different solutions work for different people. It’s impossible to say that one single solution will work for everybody. Every individual’s case of acne will be different. The key is to start with the simplest solutions and when you find something that works, stick with it.

I spent 20 years searching for a holistic cure to my acne and acne scarring. Let me save you the trouble of spending years researching acne cures. Read my story and find out how you can be acne free.

Like I said, my search for an acne scar cure began about 3 years ago after my eldest daughter asked me again what was wrong with my face, but my story begins way before that.

Since 8th grade, I’d had trouble with pimples and had been called the usual names like “pizza face”, “crater face” and a lot more that I’ve been trying to forget. I’d also tried just about every acne treatment I could find with little to moderate success. During high school and college I slopped so many different acne creams and ointments on my skin I turned it into a science experiment at times. I tried many different acne clearing diets and forced my momma down to Walgreens every week for something new.

My doctors have suggested everything from Accutane, Antibiotics, Zenmed, Oratin, Benezoyl peroxide to reflexology but nothing helped.

Once I graduated college, I figured I’d be safe but then came the adult acne. My husband was patient but I know it was difficult for him to kiss me due to the pimples sometimes. When I was pregnant with my first child things were really bad. My hormones went crazy and every day it seemed to get worse and worse.

I really wanted to be like everyone else, to have clear skin and get rid of my blackheads. As an accountant, I was used to using the Internet to find information regarding new tax regulations and other boring stuff and it suddenly occurred to me to search for acne treatments and acne remedies online.

I got myself the first internet connection I could find and went in search of salvation. Most importantly I found out I wasn’t alone. There were a LOT of people on the internet who suffered from the same oily skin, frequent breakouts and nasty pimples that I did!

I also found the snake oil salesmen and bought a lot of their products before I knew better. My UPS driver at the office wondered why I was getting so many personal deliveries. Even though the prescriptions didn’t work, some of the diets were downright strange and some of the creams made my face hurt, I knew there had to be an acne cure out there for me.

I began to narrow down the type of solution I was looking for. With children in my house, it had to be cheap, natural and not just a cream I put on the pimples and blackheads when they arrived.

I wasn’t looking for a miracle, just a solution to my acne problem that didn’t just treat a breakout, but was a holistic, natural acne solution to reduce breakouts and clear up my existing scarring.

Eventually I found it.

Discover how a thirty year old mother of 2 finally found an acne scar cure that works and what she learned about acne treatment along the way.

A lot of people asked me why I would start a blog about something embarassing like my acne scars, and the answer was easy – “I want to share what I learned with others.” I have two daughters (4 and 12) who’ve asked me about my acne scars from the time they were able to talk. I’d never thought about an acne scar cure at the time, but as they grew up, I sure started to.

“Momma, what’s wrong with your face?” my oldest (then 9 years old) asked one day, pointing to a really embarassing outbreak I was having at the time. That’s when I decided it was time to find an acne scar treatment.

I realized that I’d been answering questions like “What’s wrong with your face?” since I was 8th grade and was called “pizza face” until my senior year. Now that I’m over 30, I shouldn’t be answering questions like that.

During my 20s, while my ex was still around, I’d made some good money as an accountant and spent a lot of that money trying every adult acne treatment I could buy. I must of tried hundreds of them and some actually worked.

Most of them worked to remove blackheads and pimples, but none of them addressed the acne scarring (craters I call them) left from my teenage years.

I set out on my quest to find an effective acne scar cure. That was three years ago.
